Q: How do I order a photo restoration/colourisation or fun photolab service?
A: Its easy as 1, 2, 3...
- First you need to complete our contact us quotation form and upload your photo for a quote.
- We will email you the price & payment information on the next day as each photo is assessed and quoted individually and the price depends on the amount of work involved.
- If you are happy with the price, you’ll make payment and as soon as we receive the proof of payment or your payment we will begin working on your project. Standard turnaround time 5-7 working days (turnaround time depends on amount of work needed to be done or according to your package).

A: As soon as we receive your payment or proof of payment.
Q: How would I review the photo restoration/colourisation

photolab service before finalising?
A: We will create a screen resolution jpg format and e-mail it to you.
Q: How would I receive the finalised photo restoration/colourisation
or fun
photolab service?
A: We will create high resolution jpg format (or according to your package) and e-mail it to you.
A: How long will it take to complete my order?
Q: We will start on your project as soon as we receive your payment or proof of payment. Standard turnaround time is 5-7 working days but it will depend on amount of damage or manipulation we need to do for your project. If your project requires additional time we will give you an estimate of the time required in your next day quote. Please note, the turnaround time for images sent thorough the post mail will be greater as the project will be put on hold until we receive your images.
Q: Can you print the finalised photo restoration/colourisation
or fun
photolab project?
A: Printing is not included in photo restoration, colourisation or fun photolab services but printing prices are available upon request. If you need printing services, please let us know in contact
us quotation form as we can fulfil any printing requests.
Q: Can you sharpen a blurred/hazed/off focus image/photo?
A: Unfortunately it’s not possible to generate badly focused photo into a crisp one. Despite what has just been said it is possible to improve the sharpness of a blurry/hazed/off focus image/photo to a certain grade, but it will depend on the amount of blur/haze in the original.

Set your scanner resolution to a minimum 300dpi (Dot Per Inch), but if your scanner allows 600dpi, scan it; set it in RGB colour code (or suitable settings for your scanner). Press scan.

Name your image/photo, if possible use your first initials as well as the appropriate name for the scanned image (example: lk_holiday.jpg)

Save your file. It is preferable if you can save your file in jpg/jpeg with maximum quality option & standard format option, but we can accept file types such as tiff, psd, tga.
Q: I don’t have scanner, can I send the photo/image/certificate by mail?
A: Yes, you can! Please post it to our PO Box. Please see the section on how TO PREPARE YOUR PHOTOS FOR MAILING. Please note, the turnaround time for photos/images/certificates sent thorough the post mail will be greater as the project will be put on hold until we receive your images.
Q: Can you scan photo slides or negatives?
A: Yes, we can!
Q: What is Digital or CD/DVD Archiving?
A: Digital or CD/DVD Archiving is digitalising your precious or important photographs/images/certificates/memorabilia/etc. by scanning them to hard drive and then burning them on CD/DVD

Q: How do I
order Photo DVD Slideshow service?
A: Its easy as 1, 2, 3...
- First you need to read ‘How to order’ section and complete Photo Slideshow Order Form.
- We will email you the payment information; as soon as we receive the proof of payment or your payment & your materials we will begin working on your project.
- The turnaround time 1½ -2 weeks (or according to your package).
Q: When do you start working on my project?
A: As soon as we receive your payment or proof of payment.
Q: How would I review the photo slideshow before finalising it?
A: We will email you a link & approval form and sms or call you as soon as we finish your Photo Slideshow. Low resolution version of your Photo Slideshow will be uploaded into our secured ftp site so that you can review it before we finalise it. The link will be available for 3 days, so you will have enough time to carefully check everything and email us your changes or approval form for finalisation.
Q: How do I receive my Photo Slideshow?
A: We can post your Photo Slideshow either by registered mail or express post. (postage & handling starting from $10.00 and depends on size and weight of the parcel) or You can pick it up yourself from Visual Xtreme pick up point. If you want additional insurance, please let us know.
